I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a business that got started in Idaho, where I was born and raised, and grew to become what it is today, Redwood Stables.

A passion for horses and training started as young as 8 years old.
I saw my professional career develop as I worked with and trained horses throughout the years.

Some of my accomplishments include year-end championships in some rodeo associations and successful showings in AQHA and ABRA. It wasn't just about winning to me though. It was the focus on horsemanship, the enjoyment, communication and cooperation from the horse, not intimidation. At 25 years experience I have, or have had, membership in many associations including American Quarter Horse Association, Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association, and American Buckskin Registry Association.

I specialize in starting colts and also work with advance performance, halter, pleasure, and trail horses. I continue on, still use, and believe in the overall focus through techniques that eliminate the rough handling of horses. Whether in training any breed of horse, passing along techniques or teaching responsibility to young riders through lessons, it gives me joy as a trainer and instructor to be able to expand people's knowledge of the potential of their horse and the relationship between horse and owner.
